Bees and forests are dwindling, while an octopus hides amidst plastic, and in the background, an airplane symbolizes pollution.
Particularly noteworthy are Calypso's hair, which consists of an octopus — a sign of her highly intelligent nature and at the same time a metaphorical representation of the connection between the goddess and the sea creatures.
Her gaze is marked by despair in the face of the destructive forces threatening the sea: radioactive barrels, drifting icebergs, and birds consuming plastic are just a few symbols of humanity's disregard for nature.
